Thor, a magnificent Maine Coon kitten with large paws and lynx tips, has an entire bedroom as basecamp in our home. He is amazingly active and loves to play. No cuddles yet, but that will come with time and on his terms.

Thor may have Lucy’s eyes and ears King’s lovely silvery coloring and size.

The plan for the next week is my staying with Thor in basecamp. Thereafter we will introduce him carefully to Freya and Siggy. Both our cats saw his delivery and showed no interest.

During his first hours, Thor found a great hiding place behind the bed and mattress, and we thought he escaped the room. We opened the basecamp door and asked Freya and Siggy to find him.

But both showed no interest for the 20 minutes we looked for him. They were more interested in why he were calling for a kitten that was clearly within calling distance.

My bad.

We will be updating Thor’s growth here as well as Freya and Siggy’s relationship to him. We are so happy he is with us!
