This is the view from our bathtub. Siggy’s guardians have no privacy in the bathroom. We tolerate it because this is one way that cats show affection.
Also, Maine Coons are water babies. They may actually join you in the shower or tub.
Of course, your fluffball like many cat breeds will follow you everywhere. According to Maine Coon Central, the breed follows their owners everywhere for these reasons: “hunger, thirsty, attention, lonely, feeling sick, company, safety, curious, sixth sense, learned behavior, treats, and separation anxiety.”
PetCloud cites the same reasons and adds: “Some breeds of cat are even very fond of water. If you own a beautiful Maine Coon, Abyssinian or Bengal cat you will have witnessed their pleasure at getting wet.”

Siggy has yet to take a dive into a full tub. But we know that day is coming, with splashes and claws!
